This is a selection of Limoges porcelain pieces found on various brocante sales in France. We are not experts on Limoges, but if you are, then scroll down for a better view of the individual pieces and their marks...there could be a bargain here that even we don't realise!  We don't have the time to research everything we find, and so our prices are pure guesswork.

This is a set of four antique French cafe au lait bowls that we found on a brocante sale in France. I say antique rather than vintage as I feel sure these are from the very early part of the last century. They are chipped with some hairline cracks but still very solid. Age and use has stained them to a beautiful colour. They are offered only as ornamental of course, and would look great up on a dresser in a French style kitchen, bistro or restaurant as authentic pieces of French kitchenalia.

These old pitchers, probably from the 1930s/40s, have become very popular, especially in blue, and particularly used for floral displays. We found this one on a brocante sale in rural central France.

This is a rare limited and numbered re-print edition of the classic 1956 poster 'La Caravane Ricard'. There were only 1200 printed in this official 1970 edition, and this is no. 812, hand written by the stamp in the bottom right corner. A very collectable item. Printed on a high quality thick paper. A little darkened and stained here and there as you would expect for a poster near 50 years old, but still in very good condition, and looking all the more authentic for that. An absolute classic of the period. Framed up, would make a fantastic addition to a French style bistro or restaurant, or perhaps to a household that appreciates all things French.

Found on a brocante sale in France, we have several sets of cocktail/escargot/ pickle picks, perfect for those aperitif nibbles. The French like their themes, so here we have 'Duck', 'Hen', and a straight forward but classy hardwood set ( I think the wood may be olive). These probably date back to the 60s and 70s. Scroll down to get the information on each.

Each of the following sets were found on brocante sales in rural France. A set of picks that can be used for cocktails, pickles, escargots at aperitif time. The French often like a theme..... duck, chickens, etc.
